Each of the film projects associated with Sacajawea’s story: Sacajawea, The Windcatcher (feature film) and JOURNEY of a Windcatcher (documentary) are part of the amazing Spiritual journey we are traveling.
Through Vision Quest Interns, we have developed this rewarding opportunity to “give back” to Indigenous young people, since these projects center around Sacajawea, a Shoshoni girl.
We plan to select a number of Indigenous youth who are interested in the film industry and building their careers. They will have an opportunity to learn through on-set training, possibly working with the director’s team, in the wardrobe or makeup department or in pre-production, based on their interests. They will be listed in the credits of the films they work on. They will receive an invitation to a special event.
In addition, these interns will be taught by powerful professionals. An opportunity they never dreamed of, and a benchmark for their lives.
